1. Who we are
TasbihPulse is operated by Adil Umer. For the purposes of data protection law, Adil Umer is the data controller of personal data collected through TasbihPulse (the "Service").
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, hashed password (or OAuth identifier).
- App data: zikr counts, custom zikrs you create, favorites, daily plan progress, and other in-app activity you choose to sync.
- Device & usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser/device type, language, and timestamps, collected automatically to keep the Service secure and reliable.
- Support communications: messages you send us when contacting support.
Payment information (card details, billing address, tax data) is collected directly by Paddle and is not stored by us.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide the Service: sync zikr counts, history, and settings across devices.
- To process subscriptions and unlock Premium features (via Paddle).
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and detect abuse.
- To improve the Service (aggregated, non-identifying analytics).
- To respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
We rely on the following legal bases for processing:
- Contract performance — to provide the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and improve it.
- Legal obligation — for tax, accounting, and other regulatory requirements.
- Consent — where required (e.g. optional cookies or marketing emails).
5. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record, which handles payments, subscription management, invoicing, and tax compliance.
- Service providers — including our hosting and database provider (Supabase) used to operate the Service.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Personal data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence (including the EU, UK, and US). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, plus the period required to comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction, deletion, or restriction of processing;
- object to processing or withdraw consent at any time;
- data portability;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us through the in-app support channel. We respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and role-restricted database policies — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
10. Cookies
TasbihPulse uses only essential cookies and local storage necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
11. Children
TasbihPulse is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
13. Contact
For any privacy-related questions, contact Adil Umer through the in-app support link.
